Every lap timer
made you feel behind.
Splashling starts when you show up.

A gentle swim companion for adults who get nervous, feel embarrassed, and keep meaning to go back. Your kawaii fish buddy celebrates showing up — not split times.

"You came back. That's the whole win."

Meet your buddy.

Splashling is your pool companion — soft, patient, and genuinely delighted when you show up. It never mentions the swims you missed. It gives you one tiny next action and waits.

When you've been away: "Still here. Let's make the next one tiny." Never: "You missed 5 days."

Day 14

Before your swim

🐟

"Just getting in today counts.
That's a real swim."

How are you feeling?

😬A bit nervous
😐Okay, I think
😌Actually ready

Today's tiny swim

Get in. Rest at the wall. Come back out. That's it.

Listening to you

streak

6 swims

the gap nobody else fills

Every other swim app is built for people who already swim.

Day 1

You packed the bag.

You planned, you packed, you drove to the pool. Then sat in the car for 20 minutes and went home. Nobody talks about that.

The lane.

It felt like a performance.

You got in. Someone faster came. You moved to the slow lane and felt that thing — embarrassment dressed up as practicality.

Data.

Other apps just showed more of it.

SWOLF. Pace per 100m. Stroke rate. You downloaded the app to feel better about swimming and felt worse instead.

Splashling treats "I got in the water and didn't leave" as a five-star session.

how it works

Three gentle loops that bring you back.

01

Your buddy never shames you for being slow.

Splashling gives you one tiny next action — "Let's get in for 10 minutes" — not a training plan you'll abandon by Thursday.

When you've been away, Splashling doesn't count the days. It says "still here" and suggests the smallest possible swim. That's it.

No missed-day guiltOne tiny actionAlways patient

02

The before-and-after is the record that matters.

A tiny check-in before each swim: how nervous are you, what's the smallest version of today. Not a warm-up protocol — just a moment to settle.

After: what felt hard, what felt a little easier, and the quiet acknowledgement that you came back. That's the story of becoming a swimmer — not a spreadsheet of yards.

After swim · Day 14

"The breathing thing clicked for one length. Just one. But it did."

Progress

03

Skill quests that celebrate coming back after the hard swim.

Tiny missions that grow with you — at your pace, not a curriculum's. From "get in the water" to "rest at the wall without apologizing" to your first relaxed continuous minutes.

Get in the water
Rest at the wall without apologizing
Float for 10 seconds
Breathe to the side (just once)

what Splashling believes

Other apps celebrate a PR. We celebrate showing up scared and getting in anyway.

Becoming a swimmer isn't a speed thing. It's a going-back thing. Splashling is built around that truth — calm over competitive, comfort before technique, companion not coach.

the honest contrast

Built for people who don't feel like swimmers yet.

MySwimPro, Swim.com, Swimify — they're great apps for people who are already comfortable in the water. Pace, SWOLF, stroke rate. Data for athletes.

Splashling is for the person who isn't there yet. Who feels out of place in the lane. Who has quit and come back and quit again. That person deserves an app that meets them where they are.

Your story of becoming

You don't have to be good at this.

Not good at swimming. Not good at being consistent. Not good at not being scared. Splashling doesn't ask you to be good. It just asks you to go back.

Going back is the skill.

A few questions you might have.

Do I need to already know how to swim?+

No. Splashling starts at the very beginning — getting in the water, floating, breathing. If your first quest is 'stand in the shallow end,' that's a real quest.

Will it judge me if I stop going for a while?+

Never. When you come back, Splashling just says it's glad you're here and helps you make the next swim as tiny as it needs to be. No guilt, no streak pressure.

Is this only for beginners?+

It's for anyone who feels anxious about the pool — even people who could technically swim years ago and now feel like they've forgotten. Returners, nervous adults, occasional swimmers. If speed is your thing, this probably isn't your app.

When will it be on the App Store?+

We're in early access via TestFlight right now. Join the waitlist and you'll get an invite when a spot opens — and when the App Store launch happens, you'll hear first.

What does Splashling actually look like?+

A small, round, very soft kawaii fish. Big eyes. A gentle smile. The kind of character that looks pleased to see you regardless of how you swam.

Is there any cost during early access?+

Early access is completely free. No credit card, no commitment. Just a spot in the water.

Splashling is waiting.
No pressure. Really.

Early access is free. You'll get an iOS TestFlight invite when your spot is ready. No credit card, no commitment — just a gentle fish and a pool that's less scary than last time.
